How do I register for a class?

You can register for a class by contacting our office at (570) 524-5000 or stop by the Center. We will gladly provide you with any necessary registration paperwork that you may need to complete. Please do not show up for a program or event without registering (unless it is otherwise noted). Our programs will be made available to those who pre-registered first.

How do I know if the Center is open during inclement weather?

We suggest that, when in doubt, you call the Center. Although we try our best to get to the Center, the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is our first priority. If we are unable to safely make it to the Center, we will update our voicemail system as soon as possible. Oftentimes, we have limited staff on these days; therefore, you may call and still get our voicemail even if someone is at the Center.

This is because we are supervising the children or, in the case of snowfall, we may be outside shoveling. Please listen to the recording carefully. If we are at the Center and open for participation, we will be sure to update the message to ensure you have all of the details. During this time, the Center is open to registered participants from the After School Program and No School Days program only. New students will not be accepted on these days!

Who do I contact to get more information?

We try our best to educate everyone who answers the phones about all of the programs that happen on a daily basis at the Center. We encourage you to call our office and ask any questions you may have. If the person who answers doesn't know the information, he or she will find someone who does or take a message and a staff member will call you back. We also try to maintain updates on our Web site.
