How do I register for a class or program?

You can register for a class or program by calling our office at (570) 524-5000, by emailing us at heiter@windstream.net, or by coming to our office at 100 North 5th Street. We will gladly provide you with any necessary registration paperwork. Please do not show up for a program or event without registering (unless it is otherwise noted). Our programs will be made available to those who pre-registered first.

How do I know if the Center is open during inclement weather?

We suggest that if you are in doubt, please contact us at (570) 524-5000 to inquire. Although we try our best to keep the Center open, the safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is our first priority. Therefore, if conditions make travel unsafe, we will close the Center. In the event the Center is closed, we will update our voicemail system so you are informed.

During inclement weather, we have limited staff whose primary responsibility is to supervise children. Therefore, if you call during those hours, you will connect directly to the voicemail system. Please be advised that the Center is only open to registered participants for the After School Program and No School Days program - new students will not be accepted on these days.

We are very excited to introduce new and responsive programming to meet the diverse multigenerational needs of our community. If you have a question about our programs, activities or events, please contact our office at (570) 524-5000 or visit the programs tab on our website. If one of our office volunteers does not know the answer to your question, he or she will take a message and a staff member will call you back.
