DHCC WISH LIST
The Donal Heiter Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides services to the entire community at low or no charge. In order to continue its work, there are many things in wide range of prices that it could use. Please check the WISH LIST frequently to see how you could help. The list will be updated as needs change.
Our biggest current need is for a new facility. Although we love our location, our building is becoming unsafe due to some underground foundation crumbling. The Board of Directors is currently investigating all of our options. Although a capitol campaign is the logical response, there are too many large campaigns underway, and we are too small to compete with them. Projected expenses for a new building is about 1.5 Million Dollars. Many of the items that we are upgrading in our current building will be installed with the understanding that we may have to transplant them into a new facility.
